These web pages were made a long time ago and
were meant to be a short presentation of our family. Since then a lot of things
have happened and I found that I had to continue developing them - now including
our children and grand children as well as our parents and grand parents. I have
not finished, so over time everyone on the "Family" page will have their own
presentation. Let's start with the most important person - my wife Anita. Of
course she has her own presentation, but also a link to
Pianoorkesteret's
own web pages. The idea of a Piano Orchestra
has grown over time. Pianists normally play alone or as soloists or
accompanists. Violinists and other string groups as well as brass groups play
together in orchestras and brass bands.
Together with her colleague and good friend -
Liv Karen Aukner - this idea of an orchestra
of pianists have emerged, and is now a very popular addition to normal piano
education.
The Wegger family has always done things together. Early
after Ole Henrik's School start, most of the family joined the school band, and
after a couple of years were joined by Lars Erik. We were active in the school
band for 10 years and moved on to the local amateur theatre.
OPAL -
Oppegård Amateur theatre - was to become our home for the next 10 years. We have
had great times with both the school band and OPAL, but everything comes to an
end, so when the kids grew too old and life sent them elsewhere we were forced
to call it a day.
Anita has her education from
Norges Musikkhøgskole - Norwegian Academy of Music, and have been teaching
piano and keyboard for more than 30 years now. Stein graduated as educated
electronics engineer, and has been playing an singing for many years. Ole Henrik
had a fantastic year in 2001. Instead of normal military service, he joined His
Majesty The King's Guards - The marching band. It shall be said this also is
strenuous like normal service. He is still engaged to Carina and they have three
handsome boys; Jonas, Sander and Elias. At the moment Ole Henrik is working in
sales, but is hoping for a proper job soon. Lars Erik has, after finishing
school, had a short engagement with IBM in Norway. Now he has a very good job at
PriceWaterhouseCoopers (pwc) in Oslo. He is
married to Stine and have two beautiful girls; - Mie and Maja.
The web pages now has an addition - "Family" (or "Slekten"
in Norwegian).
Up till now it has been important to me to present Anita's father - Henry
Haagenrud.
He is a legend in the large accordion
environment
in Norway and also very known in Sweden.
I
am working hard to finish a page on everybody, so be patient.
